SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced it has for the first time been placed by Gartner Inc. as a leader in the 2019 Magic Quadrant for Sales Force Automation.
Gartner defines sales force automation (SFA) as “systems that support the automation of sales activities, processes and administrative responsibilities for organizations’ sales professionals.”
According to the report, SAP was positioned in the Leaders quadrant based on its ability to execute and for completeness of vision.
“Today’s sales force must account for all interactions between an organization and a customer in order to be successful,” said Giles House, general manager, Sales Cloud, SAP. “By delivering a better selling experience, with data on every opportunity in one place, sales reps focus on accelerating the buying process instead of getting bogged down by manual data entry and admin. We believe that being named a leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Sales Force Automation validates our approach to building high-performance sales teams that strive to exceed revenue goals and win new customers.”
SAP was also named a leader in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Sales Performance Management and a leader in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Configure, Price and Quote Application Suites.
